KolKay Electric encourages community involvement from employees and believes in corporate sponsorship to continue the growth in our youth, provide comfort to the sick and assist our elders with a helping hand. Since KolKay started in 2007, it has been actively involved in its community.
Valley Girls & Guys!
KolKay Electric Founder, Laura Richardson, has been a board member of a local charity Valley Girls & Guys! since 2009. Valley Girls & Guys! started out as a Seattle 3 Day Team but since has evolved into a bonafide IRS approved 501c3. In almost 10 years, Valley Girls & Guys! has raised over $3,000,000.00 to find a cure for breast cancer. In February of 2013 Valley Girls and Guys! started mailing blankets to cancer patients all over the world. Their goal was to provide these patients and families with a warm blanket of “Comfort and Hope.” The recipients of these blankets know that whether they are currently going through treatment, fighting a new diagnosis, or celebrating as a Survivor, that they will have a mini army of pink warriors walking and fundraising year-after-year to find a CURE! Cure one, Cure them ALL!
